New Multidenominational Post-Primary for Port Laoise
Coláiste Dhún Masc, a new multidenominational Community College, including an Aonad lán-Ghaeilge, is to open in Port Laoise in September 2017. The school will be run by the Laois Offaly Education & Training Board, with An Foras Pátrúnachta as trustee patron for the Aonad.
Gaeloideachas would like to recognise the hard work of the parents’ committee, Coiste Bunaithe Phortlaoise, whose efforts to promote Irish-medium education in the region have succeeded in the establishment of the new Aonad.
