Exhibiting and advertising at the 2016 Conference

Gaelscoileanna Teo.’s annual Education Conference will be held in conjunction with An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny on November 11th and 12th 2016.

Representatives from Irish-medium and Gaeltacht schools attend the conference each year and we hope to have representatives from the early-years sector in attendance this year as well. Gaelscoileanna Teo.’s annual conference is usually attended by between 250- 300 delegates.

This year we are offering a choice of advertising opportunities:

Exhibition Stands

Every year, Gaelscoileanna invite educational and Irish-language companies to take an exhibition stand at our Conference. This year’s exhibition will take place on Friday 11 November. The exhibition will be open to conference delegates between 9.00-18.00 on Friday. Conference activities will take place during those hours but delegates will be encouraged to visit the exhibition during all breaks and at lunchtime. Tea and coffee will be served in the exhibition venue.

Scheduled breaks will be as follows :
8.30-9.20 Registration, tea and coffee
11.15-11.45 Tea and coffee break
12.45-13.45 Lunch (with dessert, tea and coffee to be served in the exhibition venue)
16.00-16.30 Tea and coffee break

Fees:

For voluntary and non-profit organisations: €150 for a space with 6’ x 1’ table
For commercial organisations: €300 for a space with 6’ x 1’ table

The cost of the stand includes admission to the events at the conference, a table, 2 chairs and WIFI. It also includes tea, coffee and lunch for exhibitors. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to bring everything else that he/she may require with him/her. The hotel advises bringing an extension cable.

Bookings:

This year’s exhibition will consist of 40 stands. Due to the demand for stands every year, it has been decided that this year’s exhibitors will be chosen through a lottery system. Therefore, if your company wishes to apply for a stand at the Conference, complete the form below before the closing date of 30th September 2016 at 17.00.

The lottery for all applicants will be held on the 3rd October 2016 and applicants will be informed immediately of the result. Successful applicants will receive an invoice for the fee, due for payment by the 14th of October 2016. The booking of the stand cannot be guaranteed until payment is received. Payment will not be accepted at the conference. If payment is not forthcoming by the due date, the stand will be sold on.

Conditions:

  • Space is strictly limited to one stand per organisation.
  • The exhibition space will be open to delegates from 09.00-18.00 on Friday. Exhibition spaces are not available on the Saturday.
  • If your organisation has any particular requirements we will do our best to facilitate them. Please indicate any requirements on the form below.
    The staff member accompanying the exhibition stand does not need to have fluent Irish, however Irish is the working language of the conference delegates.

Advertisement in the Conference handbook

We are offering advertising space for 6 adverts which will be:

  • A5 size
  • In Irish or bilingual
  • In portrait format

Fees:

For voluntary and non-profit organisations: €150
For commercial organisations: €300

Bookings:

Due to the limited advertising space the successful applicants will also be chosen through lottery . Therefore, if your company wishes to apply for an advert in the Conference handbook,, complete the form below before the closing date of the 30th of September.
