Increased enrolment will be key to survival of Coláiste Chineál Eoghain – ETB Chair

The Chairperson of the Donegal Education and Training Board says increased enrolment is what is required to secure the long term future Buncrana’s Gaelscoil Coláiste Chineál Eoghain.
It was confirmed yesterday that the school will remain open following a campaign from parents who objected to an earlier announcement that it was to close.
The Chairperson of the Donegal Education Training Board is Joanne Irwin – she says funding will be sought from the department of education to support the school but added that more students are the key to its long term future….
