Cearta Oideachais Submission regarding the Education (Admission to Schools) Bill 2016

Cearta Oideachais are a group of parents raising our children through Irish or bilingually. They came together because they are worried that children whose home language is Irish will be prevented from attending Irish medium schools because of changes to school entrance policies being proposed by the Minister for Education & Skills. They are campaigning for the educational needs and rights of native Irish speaking children to be recognised in any new legislation on school enrolment.
