Allowances granted by Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht

As we approach the end of the year, it is encouraging to see that Minister of State in the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley, still has a few coffers left with many grants announced over the past week or two.
Among funding grants awarded were:
- €10,164 to Scoil Chuimsitheach Chiaráin in addition to a previous grant of €70,000 awarded for refurbishing work on tarmacadam at and around the school.
- €8,395 awarded to Coiste Forbartha Dhobhair Teo to purchase equipment for Ionad Naomh Pádraig.
- €35,304 to Comhairle na Mumhan (GAA) in support of activities run through Irish in Gaeltacht schools over the academic year 2013/14.
- €2,085 awarded to Meánscoil San Nioclás, An Rinn, Co. Waterford, to enable them to purchase curtains, lights and stands for the school hall.
- €23,436 awarded to Coiste Meitheal Oibre Chill Éinne for improvements to dressing rooms at Cill Éinne football pitch.
