Further disappointment for parents in North Dublin campaigning for a multi-denominational Gaelscoil

An Foras Pátrúnachta recently requested a review of the decision to provide no provision for the 733 children who wish to attend a multi-denominational Gaelscoil in Drumcondra/Marino/Dublin 1 area. They were extremely disappointed to read in the Minister’s letter regarding the review that he is not willing to grant recognition to an Irish-medium school, in spite of the compelling case made by parents in the area, An Foras Pátrúnachta and Gaelscoileanna Teo. Gaelscoileanna Teo. will continue to work with parents in the area and will hold a meeting in the coming days to discuss future opportunities and feedback on the process, with a view to presenting it to the Department.
