Na Laochra is Lú has been shortlisted for this year’s Children’s Book of the Year Awards

A rivetting new work from a first time author in which the diminutive fairies, Ruán and Éadaoin, are given daunting tasks to perform in order to stop the return of the pernicious Taibhse Dána. They do of course succeed but not without some help from a few unlikely sources. Steve Simpson’s illustrations really bring the whole book to life.
